Warts Causes and Types

A wart is a small growth, usually hard and benign (non-cancerous), formed on and rooted in the skin, known medically as a verruca. Ordinary warts tend to occur on the hands, finger, elbows, knees and face, and are the most common in children and young people. They caused by a virus.
These are usually black or purple raised spots on the skin. Of they grow in size it is better to see the doctor. Also everyone of us moles but if these the doctor. Also everyone of us have moles but if these appear too fast and are in large numbers it is good to consult a doctor to rule out there disease.
Plantar warts occur on the sole of the foot, often on the metatarsal region at the base of the toes. Because of pressure from standing and walking, these warts are painful and become covered with a thick callus. This type is infectious and sometimes occurs in epidemics.
A doctor may cauterise the wart with an electric needle or chemicals, of freeze it with dry ice. Or he may use minor surgery, x-rays or injections smallpox vaccine, depending on the nature of the wart. Those which are not too unsightly and no trouble are usually left alone. Some gradually disappear without treatment.
Never try remove a wart yourself with a razor or chemical preparation. Any marked change in the shape of wart or sudden appearance of several warts could indicate disorder and should be reported to a doctor.
