Skin Toning and Firming

With age and other causes, like unpredictable of weather, pollutions and other toxins in the atmosphere the face and other parts of our body starts to sag and show wrinkles. For a youth, rejuvenated feel, you have to firm and tone your skin.
The epidermal cells gradually lose their capacity to produce new cells while the dermis that produces collagen loses its elasticity, resulting in a dry skin and wrinkles on the face.
Toners can be used to clean the last traces of oil from the skin. They do not close or open pores. Sometimes they cause a slight skin irritation which makes the skin feel tighter.
Skin Toning lotions freshen the skin. They also stimulate the blood supply to the skin. While using astringent, soak a cotton wool in it and dab your face. If your face has a tired look, and your skin tends to be loose and flabby, pat it on with a brisk, slapping movement.
Using cotton wool, moisten it with the toning lotion, and pat on the cheeks, chin and neck. Never use a harsh astringent lotion for dry, combination of normal skin. Use a rose-water-based product for best results.
The skin has to be rejuvenated. Clinically face lifts are being done by cosmetologist. Though it is quite expensive dermatologist say people are lining up to get face lifts, nose or cheekbone surgery. People are aware of their appearance, so everything possible is done to stay young. Cost and surgeries need not put you off.
Vitamin E is an excellent skin toner. It is an antioxidant essential for specially those who are leaving the portals of youth and entering the gate of middle age. Now is your time to pamper yourself.
The skin of the peach fruit acts is a good astringent and bleaching agent as well as a skin toner.
