How to Cleanse the Face

Cleansing the face is essential for removing perspiration, grease dust, stale make-up, dirt and bacteria. This requires a good cleanser. Cleansing creams penetrate the pores in the skin. Wash them thoroughly, thereby unclogging them.
A few basic points needs to be followed:
- Before starting on the face, ensure that your hair is well tuckled away from the face to avoid making your hairy greasy.
- Dab generous amounts of cleansing cream on the cheeks, chin, forehead and neck.
- Massage the cream into the skin in a light upward and outward movement, concentrating on the crease near the nose, under the chin area, neck, ealobes, around the corners of the mouth.
- When start removing the cream, always use a moist cotton wool, for dry cotton wool absorbs moisture from the skin, and you don’t want to lose that moisture.
- Repeat this process until the cotton wool comes out clean.
- 6. This cleansing should ideally be done twice a day, most essential before retiring for the night.
