Gram Negative Folliculitis
Gram Negative Folliculitis is other form of utmost acne stimulated by an inflaming of the folicles that is induced by bacterial infection.
This Gram Negative Folliculitis status is characterised by pustules and cysts. It has been ascertained in some causes of the disquiet that its development is induced by a complication consequent from a long-term antibiotic treatment of acne vulgaris.
The cause that this form of acne is addressed “gram-negative” associates to the fact that gram is a character of blue stain used for laboratory testing for microscopic organism. Bacterium that do not stain blue are referred to as “gram-negative.” Like other forms of extreme or severe acne, gram-negative foliculitis is a rare condition, and we do not know whether it is more common in males or females as it has been documented in both.
